To ensure that your documents are stored properly and accessible to your colleagues, it is important to save all your documents in SharePoint. This can be done directly from Office applications or other applications. Below are a few examples.
After you have created a report, for example, you can immediately save it in SharePoint.
Click on Save.
Click on the arrow under "Choose a location."
Click on "More locations -->" for more options.
Click on the left side on "Sites" and then on the right side on the desired SharePoint channel or folder in the office folder.
Select the folder where you want to save it and click 'Save'.
If, for example, you get a pop-up screen in your browser asking where you want to save your documents, you can choose to save them in SharePoint. However, do this only for documents that your colleagues are allowed to see. You can save private files in your own OneDrive folder.
At the "Save as" screen, choose "COMPANY" or the folder "OneDrive --> COMPANY - Documents," depending on how you have linked it in the previous chapter.
