# The external source cannot be reached

Do you receive the following error message: "The external source cannot be reached. Check your connection and try again, or ask the network administrator for assistance"?

This can have various reasons. Below you'll find possible solutions.

1. Check if your computer is connected to the internet.&#x20;
2. Check if you are connected to the VPN. If you are indeed connected, try turning off the VPN and then turning it on again.
3. Are you connected to a guest or hotel WiFi? Try using your hotspot instead.
