# Grant apps access to your microphone

It can happen that certain programs do not detect your microphone in the portal. In that case, you need to adjust a setting before proceeding with the configuration.

1. Click on the microphone icon in the bottom right or go to "Settings" and then to "Privacy."<br>

2. You can now enable "Allow apps to access your microphone."<br>

3. In the screenshot below you can see which programs are allowed to access your microphone. Click the button to enable it.<br>
